My name is Michelle Wilson

Born in the foothills of the Appalachians, the promise of magic and mountains has captured my imagination since childhood. With dirt between my toes and my nose in a book, my love of reading and writing grew as I was raised on the stories of my parents and grandparents and the seemingly endless amount of books I consumed.
​
My first love is young adult fantasy. I love to read and write books that transport readers to magical and fantastic worlds with characters they can journey with as friends. I love to write about romance, mythical creatures, animal sidekicks, and all things magic.
I think stories contain some of the most powerful magic we have at our disposal and that everyone has a voice and a story they can tell. I write to make sense of the world and explore the amazing facets of people and imagination.

I live in charming, small-town Kentucky with my husband, child, and three dogs. I juggle momming, working, and writing by the grace of God and lots of caffeine.
